John Probst is currently the Supervisor of the Musical Instrument Repair Department for Wichita Public Schools, and choir director at St. Joseph Catholic Church. John is also a professional musician playing bass guitar with the band Groove 42, and as a freelance player. He graduated from Wichita State University with a bachelor’s degree in Music Education in 1989. John has worked in music retail and learned the repair trade at Jim Starkey Music Center.
Helping kids get and stay involved with music has been a very fulfilling part of John’s life.
